About Our Foam Board Signs

Design and customize your very own foam board signs for short and long-term use! We offer foam board printing on 3/16” or ½” thick poster board with a foam core. These signs allow you to showcase your business logo in addition to any other company information, making them the perfect complementary items to any presentation, trade show booth, or lobby. What are foam board signs?

Foam board, also known as foam core and poster board, are lightweight, rigid substrates that come in flat sheets and are cut down to a custom size. Foam board printing is an extremely cost-effective solution to your indoor advertising needs. Custom foam boards are typically used for POP displays, business presentations, or in entryways to display information to guests who are attending a ceremony or event.

What foam core sign materials do you offer?

We offer two types of material: premium and economy. The premium version is constructed of 100% styrene, which is a lightweight foam core with a plastic face. It is waterproof and resistant to denting and ripping, which makes it ideal for long-term indoor use.

Our economy material is made of polystyrene core with a clay coated paper face. This means that it can be subject to warpage if exposed to moisture, and it is prone to wear and tear. If it gets dented or scratched, the surface cannot be smoothed out, and it cannot be cleaned if soiled. The economy version is more suitable for short-term use.

What is the shipping time on my foam board signs?

What thicknesses are available?

3/16" (~5mm) is the standard thickness. We also carry 1/2" (~13mm) boards which are more than double the thickness of the 3/16" sheet, making them more stable and ideal for signs larger than 4' tall. For signs that height, we suggest displaying them with a heavy base on the floor so your graphic does not slide on the ground.

Which poster board size should I order?

If you are looking to use your sign for presentations and more intimate settings, 18" x 24" and 36" x 24" are the most commonly ordered sizes.

For larger displays that will stand from the ground, 12" x 36" and 58" x 48" are the most common sizes.

Do you have bases to display my foam sign?

Yes, we have three bases that are compatible with foam board prints. We offer M Mounts, which are sturdy steel or cardboard M-shaped bases. The steel options come in 12”, 24”, and 36” widths while cardboard bases are available in 12”, 24”, and 30” widths. These bases are easy to assemble and have a long display life. Prints can be switched out easily, so you don't have to purchase new hardware every time you need to change designs.

Our Multipurpose Water Base is a versatile option, as it is not restricted to certain print widths. You can use it with any foam board ranging in 12" - 48" widths and 24" up to 58" heights. It can also be filled with water or sand for additional stability.

How is my custom foam board sign made?

We use a full-color digital UV printing process for all foam printing. This process produces vibrant colors, so any design you create will be brilliantly reproduced when the foam board is printed.

Each sign is then cut on our professional cutting hardware to ensure smooth edges and straight sides.
