Do not use the “Standard” pole kit in winds exceeding 30mph. The “Premium” version, on the other hand, is the more expensive option but holds up better in outdoor weather. The “Premium" pole set is best for extended and repeated outdoor use because it holds up in wind speeds up to 63mph.
Can the flag be used in outdoor weather?
Yes, our flags are made from a durable outdoor flag polyester, which is designed to be used both indoors and outdoors. While the material is lightweight, so the flag moves in the wind, it’s also heavy-duty so the wind and rain don’t tear the material. This is because our polyester fabric is tear resistant.
What kind of printing do you use for the flag?
The BBQ flag signs are printed using a dye sublimation printing method. This is a high-quality printing process that ingrains ink into the fabric. This prevents the colors from scratching or peeling off the material unlike other, lower-quality printing techniques. One side of the material is printed with the stock design while the mirror image bleeds through to the other side, allowing the artwork to be visible on both sides.
What is the difference between the base options?
The stake base is designed for displaying the flag on soft ground while the cross base is for setting up the flag on hard ground. The stake option inserts directly into grass, dirt, or other types of soil. The cross base can be used on asphalt, indoor flooring, sidewalks, and other hard surfaces. Weight bags are included with the cross base to stabilize the flag set. If you plan on setting up your BBQ flags in all kinds of locations, we have the option of ordering both bases.
